Financial Accountant
South Warrington - Hybrid following training - up to £45,000 DOE

Working with one of our most long-standing clients - this role is a fantastic move for an established Management Accountant who has knowledge of cash-flow/daily banking processes. You will be joining an extremely high-calibre team and future opportunities in this firm are brilliant.
As Financial Accountant, you will be sitting underneath an extremely accomplished Financial Controller and will be responsible for the day-to-day cash management, cash flow forecasting and monthly reporting cycle. This is a pivotal role within the team and my client needs somebody adaptable, hard-working and driven.
Key duties of this role will include:
- Monitor daily cash positions and ensure sufficient funds are available for operational needs.
- Manage cash forecasting and analyse variances to ensure accurate cash flow projections.
- Oversee the reconciliation of bank accounts and daily cash transactions.
- Maintain strong working relationships with the bank, resolving all issues relating to accounts or transactions.
- Support payment processes and track actual inflows/outflows vs forecast.
- Prepare treasury related reports including cash flow forecasts, liquidity reports and variance analysis.
- Assist in preparing financial statements by providing treasury related data and insights.
What we need from you:
- Strong understanding of cash flow management.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and financial software.
- QBE will be considered, but a relevant AAT/part-CIMA/ACCA qualification would be advantageous.
- A proactive approach to your work.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
