Description
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate monthly management accounts
- Provide financial advice to department managers to aid strategic planning
- Analyse financial trends and forecast future company revenue
- Monitor and review financial data, and prepare detailed reports for both internal and external stakeholders
- Implement effective cost management strategies within the organisation
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards
- Lead and develop the accounting team to ensure optimal performance
- Contribute to the development and implementation of organisational financial strategies
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A professional accounting qualification
- Extensive knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
- Experience working in the industrial / manufacturing sector
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset
- Solid leadership skills and experience managing a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
