We are seeking an experienced Control Panel Wiring Supervisor to join our client's team near to Widnes (Liverpool).

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work for an industry leader in advanced manufacturing and automation solutions. As the Control Panel Wiring Supervisor, you will lead a team of skilled Wiring technicians (wirers, wiremen, wire man), overseeing the assembly and installation of complex electrical control panels, control systems and industrial machinery.

Your role will be crucial in maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring workplace safety, and driving team performance to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate a team of approximately 10 technicians, assigning tasks and prioritizing workloads to meet production deadlines.
  • Technical Oversight: Supervise the assembly, wiring, and testing of industrialelectrical systemsand control panels according to detailed engineering specifications.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Educational Background: BTEC, City & Guilds electrical qualification, or equivalent recognized apprenticeship in electrical engineering.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Expert ability to interpret and work from complex electrical schematics
    • In-depth knowledge of control panel build, wiring techniques, and component selection
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record in a supervisory or team leadership role within a technical environment.
