Challenge-trg is recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers for our client based in Widnes.
We are recruiting to cover various days including weekend coverage for store deliveries across the UK.
Assessment and Induction required before shifts allocated of max 3 hours each which will entail driving tests & on the road driving assessment.
Induction will be later in the week and again will take approx 3 hours.
There are various start times available with a current average shift length of 11 - 13 hours.
AM - Between 00:01 & 04:00am
PM - Between 16.00-23.00pm
What the HGV Class 1 driver can expect:
Weekly Pay
Guaranteed minimum shift payment of 8 hours
Hourly Pay
24-hour assistance night operation team
The Requirements from the HGV Class 1 Driver
- A full Class 1 HGV Licence
- A valid Drivers CPC Card
- A digital tachograph card
- A full understanding of WTD legislation
- Reliable and excellent time keeping
- Flexible with start times & working days
