Job Advert: Cleaner
Please note possession of an Enhanced DBS certificate is essential to apply for this role.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and efficient Cleaner to join our client's team in Widnes. This is a short-term cover position, Monday to Friday, from 3pm to 6pm, with an immediate start required. Although the initial contract is short-term, there may be potential longer-term opportunities with our client.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Maintain cleanliness in classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas.
- Empty and sanitise waste bins and replace bin bags as required.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and replenish toiletries as needed.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure compliance at all times.
Requirements:
- Possession of an Enhanced DBS certificate
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time effectively to complete tasks within set timeframes.
- A strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- A positive attitude towards teamwork.
