Role: Teacher of IT
Location: Widnes
Type: Part time temporary
Rate: 30 - 35 per hour
Eden Brown Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic IT Teacher to deliver lessons for the Extended Certificate Practice in IT (Level 1 and 2) on a part-time, temporary basis on behalf of a leading FE College.
The role is for 1 and a half days on a Wednesday 9.00 - 13.00 and Thursday 830 - 17.00
All the lessons are prepped.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging, high-quality IT lessons for Level 1 and Level 2 students
* Provide support to students with their coursework and practical assignments
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Create and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment
* Assist with assessments and ensure that all course objectives are met
Essential Requirements:
* A passion for IT and teaching
* Experience in teaching or delivering IT-related courses (preferably at Level 1 and 2)
* Strong knowledge of IT principles and applications
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A relevant qualification in IT (e.g., Degree, BTEC, or equivalent)
* Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent)
A DBS is also needed for this role and it is to start after half term.
