Management Accountant

Sellick Partnership has been exclusively engaged to recruit a Management Accountant for a market-leading company based in Wigan.

The Management Accountant will play a crucial role in the finance function of the business. The company has seen significant growth over the past few years and will now be looking to further advance through organic growth as well as via acquisitions. This role is available at an exciting time and the successful candidate will play a major part in supporting the Finance Director in delivering effective monitoring and reporting of the company's capital and financial position.

The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant Include:

  • Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, inclusive of balance sheet reconciliations and forecast for yearly outturn.
  • Liaison with external stakeholders to ensure their timely returns for VAT and payroll.
  • To provide business partnering to key internal stakeholders to offer pertinent financial information to aid in decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Weekly cash flow forecast

You will possess good communication skills, with the ability to support teams across finance coupled with building positive relationships with teams and leaders across the business to work collaboratively.

The successful applicant will be a part-qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)

The suitable candidate will have the following:

  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Highly motivated for the delivery of accurate and high-quality work
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal
  • Works efficiently and calmly under pressure
  • Ability to plan and organise workload
  • Excellent IT skills, Advanced in all Microsoft Applications
