What You'll Be Doing
As a Management Accountant you'll play a key role in shaping their financial success by:Owning the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Preparing and analysing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
- Supporting the preparation of annual financial statements and liaising with external auditors.
- Providing financial insights that drive smart business decisions and growth.
- Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Strengthening financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Assisting in high-impact projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and process improvements.
- Mentoring junior finance team members and fostering a culture of continuous development.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance and achieve strategic goals.
What They're Looking For
- Part/Fully Qualified Accountant status (ACCA, CIMA, AAT, or equivalent) or QBE with 5+ years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and analysis-especially in month-end processes.
- Experience in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
- Excellent communication & leadership skills-you'll be working closely with key stakeholders.
- A problem-solving mindset with sharp analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial systems-data-driven decision-making is key!
