Your new companyHays Recruitment are excited to support our client, an award-winning manufacturing company based in Standish, Wigan, in their search for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Co-Ordinator to join their team.Your new roleAs the Quality Systems Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the Quality Manager to ensure the company adheres to the latest quality standards. You'll oversee the accuracy and availability of quality documentation, assist in investigating non-compliance issues, and ensure that corrective actions are effectively addressed. You'll work collaboratively with departments such as Production, Quality Control (QC), and Research & Development (R&D) to drive continual improvement and maintain compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).Key Responsibilites include:* Maintain and accurately complete all required documentation within deadlines.* Ensure compliance with QMS procedures and assist with management reviews.* Support and coordinate the internal audit schedule.* Assist in preparing data for regular non-conformance reviews, including monitoring customer complaints and QMS objectives.* Collaborate with the Production team to establish and maintain quality standards.* Monitor and analyse quality performance data to identify improvement opportunities.* Document and track corrective actions, ensuring timely resolution of quality issues.* Support continuous improvement efforts in quality processes.* Ensure all products and services meet the company's quality standards.* Report incidents or issues requiring management intervention using appropriate systems.* Comply with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality management systems. What you'll need to succeed* Proven experience in a Quality Co-Ordinator, Quality Assurance, or similar role, preferably in manufacturing, chemical knowledge would be advantageous.* Familiarity with quality control methods, product testing, and quality management systems.* Experience with ISO standards, particularly ISO 14001 and 45001, is highly advantageous.* Strong verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.* Skilled in data analysis, performance metrics, and process auditing.* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.* Ability to build positive relationships across teams and departments.* Must have knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word.
