The Role:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within the telecoms sector. You will build strong relationships with potential clients, understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions that drive business growth. My client are looking for someone who is proficient at building relationships with both vendors and prospective clients to develop their Hosted Telephony side of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to identify and win new business opportunities.
  • Proactively seek out potential clients through networking, cold calling, and market research.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in businesses.
  • Present and demonstrate telecom solutions, including VoIP, broadband, and managed IT services.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within the telecoms industry specifically Telephony.
  • Strong understanding of telecom products and services, including VoIP, broadband, and unified communications.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving license.
