The Role: 

We are looking for a candidate that can make their mark in a niche & bespoke industry... Here’s how:

  • Installation & Commissioning: Supervise the installation of HV/LV substations, switchboards, and other electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of equipment, documenting and resolving any issues to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Site Coordination: Work closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to coordinate site activities, manage resources, and meet project milestones.
  • Technical Support: Provide on-site technical support and guidance to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site progress, testing results, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure that all work is carried out following health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.

About You:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Site Engineer, ideally in the HV/LV power distribution sector, substations, or related electrical systems.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical installations, testing, and commissioning procedures, with experience in electrical design interpretation.
  • Certifications: Relevant safety certifications (such as CSCS, NEBOSH, or equivalent) are a plus.
  • Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.
