Early Careers Teacher- Hindley, WN2

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Primary ECT (Early Career Teacher) to join a supportive team within a primary school in Hindley, WN2. The school are aware that ECT’s finish their courses between May- July, they would like to see potential applicants on a supply basis as soon as they have finished in preparation for a full-time teaching post from September 2025.

The school has a variety of teaching posts available ranging from EYFS to KS2 and once you have worked on supply they will make a decision as to which year group the successful applicant will be suitable in.

What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:

  • To ensure high quality education for all pupils in a designated class and improve the quality of learning and standards of achievement
  • To carry out and meet the professional standards for teachers
  • Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned pupils.
  • Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils including those with SEND
  • Administer end of Key Stage testing and assessment where appropriate
  • Establish a safe, purposeful and stimulating environment for pupils, rooted in mutual respect

Non-negotiables:

  • Must have a primary teaching degree with QTS
  • Good behaviour management
  • Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
