EYFS Teaching Assistant

EYFS Teaching Assistant - Wigan:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a compassionate and motivated teaching assistant to work with EYFS at a school near Wigan. This role will involve working closely with students, parents and staff.

The Role:

• Preparing learning resources and activities within the setting
• Providing specific support and interventions in line with the curriculum
• Carrying out assessments and recording information
• Leading groups in activities in core curriculum areas such as Phonics, English and Maths

Position Details:

• Position: EYFS Teaching Assistant
• Location: Wigan
• Type of Work: Temporary
• Full time/Part time: Full time
• Hours: 8:45am-3pm
• Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
• Start date: ASAP
• End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

• Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
• Relevant qualification in Early Years or equivalent experience

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold right to work in the UK
• Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
