Psych Grad TA - Wigan
Prospero Teaching are looking for a recent graduate with an interest in pursuing a career in education. This will be a teaching assistant role supporting children with complex needs at a school near to Wigan.
The Role:
- Preparing learning resources and activities
- Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
- Liaising with other staff members to monitor progress of the students
Position Details:
- Location: Wigan
- Position: Psych Grad TA
- Hours: 8:30am-4pm, Mon-Fri
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/part time: Full time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: 21/01/2025
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- BA Hons Degree in Psychology is essential
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to form new relationships with students, staff and parents

- - Hold Right to Work in the UK
- - Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- - Provide two professional references
