Psych Grad TA - Wigan

Prospero Teaching are looking for a recent graduate with an interest in pursuing a career in education. This will be a teaching assistant role supporting children with complex needs at a school near to Wigan.

The Role:

  • Preparing learning resources and activities
  • Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
  • Liaising with other staff members to monitor progress of the students

Position Details:

  • Location: Wigan

  • Hours: 8:30am-4pm, Mon-Fri
  • Type of Work: Temporary
  • Full time/part time: Full time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • BA Hons Degree in Psychology is essential
  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to form new relationships with students, staff and parents
