Flexible Teaching Assistants - Wigan
Tradewind are seeking dedicated individuals for the position of Flexible Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in local Wigan schools.
Roles include full-time, part-time, and day-to-day positions, offering flexibility to suit your schedule.
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll:
- Provide tailored support to children with SEN, aiding their social and academic development through 1:1 and small group sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, fellow assistants, and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Assist with behaviour management both in the classroom and throughout the school environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an educational setting.
- Preferably, experience working with individuals with SEN.
- A comprehensive educational and employment background.
- Availability for a minimum of two days per week.
- Demonstrated flexibility.
Essential requirements:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and a right to work in the UK
