Flexible Teaching Assistants - Wigan

Tradewind are seeking dedicated individuals for the position of Flexible Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in local Wigan schools.

Roles include full-time, part-time, and day-to-day positions, offering flexibility to suit your schedule.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll:

  • Provide tailored support to children with SEN, aiding their social and academic development through 1:1 and small group sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, fellow assistants, and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Assist with behaviour management both in the classroom and throughout the school environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an educational setting.
  • Preferably, experience working with individuals with SEN.
  • A comprehensive educational and employment background.
  • Availability for a minimum of two days per week.
  • Demonstrated flexibility.

Essential requirements:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and a right to work in the UK
