Are you an Electrician looking for the opportunity to work with an established, busy Contractor on a permanent basis?

We have a position available for an experienced candidate to work within the Electrical division of a Social Housing Contractor, working on Social Housing Refurbishment projects. Based from the company's offices in Wigan, you'll be working across the Greater Manchester region and potentially West Yorkshire.

You will be working in both tenanted and void properties, working on a variety of planned and reactive maintenance jobs.

Duties will include:

  • Carrying out Electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations within domestic, social housing properties.
  • Testing, inspection, and fault finding of electrical equipment.
  • Ensuring all administration related to repairs is complete.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Full UK Driving License
  • NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2 qualification
  • City & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395 inspection and testing (desirable)
  • A good level of IT literacy.
  • An understanding of Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace.
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification
  • Experience within the Social Housing sector
