We are currently seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist for a locum role based in the community around Wigan. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced OT to join a dynamic and supportive team within a community-based setting, providing rehabilitation and condition management to adults in the local area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage patients with a variety of conditions in a community rehabilitation setting.
  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions focused on independence and functional recovery.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care for patients.
  • Manage a caseload of patients and provide rehabilitation and condition management as required.
  • Support and guide junior staff and contribute to service development.

Essential Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC Registration.
  • Previous UK NHS experience.
  • Post-registration experience in rehabilitation and condition management.

Desirable:

  • Experience in community settings or Intermediate Care (IMC).
  • Current Band 6 experience.
