Multi Skilled Shift Engineer

Monday – Friday

6AM-2PM / 2PM-10PM

Call out rota of 1 in every 3 weeks

To undertake and direct the maintenance, modification, improvement, and installation of equipment in the manufacturing facility to maximise equipment and facility productivity at minimum cost.

The Candidate

  • Experience working within a fast-paced Food Manufacturing environment.
  • Qualified through time served experience & or qualification to work on food production equipment.
  • Good knowledge of HACCP.
  • Multi Skilled – Electrical Experience

The Role

  • PPM servicing and reactive maintenance of equipment, including Multi head weighers, VFFFS bagging machines, case tapers and conveyors, compressors, pumps, electrical systems, oil pipelines, water, and effluent systems, compressors, pumps, electrical systems, oil pipelines, water, and effluent systems
  • PPM servicing and reactive maintenance on site services including compressors, pumps, electrical systems, oil pipelines, water, and effluent systems.
  • Continuous improvement of production line equipment to increase line OEE and prevent downtime and improve change overs.
  • Development and improvement of electrical control systems throughout the site to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
  • Project management and capital asset installation in conjunction with the Factory Manager
  • General maintenance including building repair.
  • Management and ordering of engineering spares.
