I am currently working with a hugely successful supplier to the retail industry based near Wigan. They are currently seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will have strong analytical ability and a great eye for detail. Ideally you will have a minimum of 1 years Account Management experience preferably within a similar industry or experience as an Account Executive looking for the next step in your career.
As Account Manager your role will include;
- Ultimate responsibility for all aspects of the successful management of designated retailer account/s with top line support from NAM.
- Develop strong relationships with retailer contacts, employing highly effective and efficient communication.
- Identify and maximise most viable sales opportunities.
- Effectively plan and manage retailers range and promotional calendars.
- Provide detailed sales vs. budget reports and analysis.
- Supporting the National Account Manager with all aspects of administration, account management and support for customers.
Skills and experience required;
- Experience of dealing with electrical appliances desirable but not essential
- Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively
- Ability to lead meetings
- Customer focused and understands importance of service delivery excellence
- Analytical ability, working to the highest level of accuracy
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent team player with a positive attitude
