P4 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Children's Worker in Wigan to join the team team at one of the leading charities in the North West of England. You'll be creating a safe, supportive environment for children and young people affected by domestic abuse, homelessness, and more.

Job Title: Children’s WorkerLocation: Wigan (with occasional travel to other services)

Key Responsibilities:- Provide activities and support for children and young people across safe accommodation services.- Work with families to improve parenting and parent-child relationships.- Ensure the service meets company policies, especially around health and safety, safeguarding, and confidentiality.

Requirements:- Relevant qualification in CYP/Domestic abuse or equivalent work experience.- Ability to travel across contract area and for training.- Car access for work purposes.- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required.

Key Tasks:- Create a safe and welcoming environment for children in refuge services.- Plan and lead play sessions and activities during school holidays and after school.- Support positive parenting and offer practical advice about local services for children.- Work closely with DA Support Workers to ensure robust safeguarding practices.
