If the answer is Yes, then we could be offering you the opportunity to work within an school based in Wigan. The Provision provides a bespoke curriculum to young people who are not able to access mainstream education. Students have a range of SEND including Social Emotional & Mental Health, Moderate Learning Difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Pupils may display challenging behaviour, so excellent behaviour management is essential with knowledge of a range of de-escalation techniques.

Requirements:-

  • Experience within SEN (Ideally SEMH / ASD- challenging behaviour).
  • Experience in a school/care/residential setting.

  • Be able to use own initiative and want to help students progress.
  • Be willing to be flexible.

Additional requirements:

  • References confirming suitability for role
  • Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
