SEN TA - Wigan:
Prospero Teaching are looking for teaching assistants to join one of our schools near to Wigan. You will be supporting children with complex needs in small groups and on a 1-1 basis.
The Role:
- Supporting children in small groups and 1-1
- Building rapport with staff, parents and pupils
- Preparing learning and resources
- Fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment
Position Details:
- Location: Wigan
- Hours: 8am-3pm
- Position: SEN TA
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/part time: Full time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: 90 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: Jan 2025
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding certificate within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
