As the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for managing a significant procurement budget and stocks while overseeing supply chain management, purchasing, and stock control processes. This is a key role within the management team, contributing to company-wide strategies and decisions.The Role:* Manage procurement activities with an annual budget of £25 million and stock values between £3-4 million.* Lead and develop a team focused on purchasing, and stock control.* Drive cost savings and efficiency's through strategic supplier contract negotiations and improvements.* Implement and oversee a fully functional live-stock system and integrated warehouse.* Play an active role in new product development initiatives from a supply management perspective.The Person:* Substantial experience in Purchasing within Manufacturing* Strong Management and project management skills, with a solid understanding of MRP & ERP systems.* Skilled in negotiating and building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.On Offer:
