Job Description: Commercial/Project Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Commercial/Project Manager to oversee and manage the delivery of industrial flooring projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed within budget, on time, and to the highest standards, while maintaining excellent client relationships and ensuring commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of flooring projects, from initial planning to final handover.
- Oversee project budgets, forecasting, and financial performance to ensure profitability.
- Prepare and review contracts, tenders, and bids, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure adherence to project specifications, quality, and health and safety standards.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service.
- Prepare project reports and updates for senior management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a Commercial/Project Manager role within the construction or industrial flooring sector.
- Strong understanding of contracts, budgeting, and project management principles.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working effectively under pressure.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in construction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Full UK driving license.
