Job Title: Production Manager
Location: Wigston
Salary: up to £50,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent
The Role
Our client is currently looking for a Production Manager who will be able to spearhead the production process and to be able to provide the commercial sector with market leading joinery products. The ideal candidate will have experience within production management (foreman or supervisor) in the joinery industry.
Duties and responsibilities:
- To manage the workload of all the operatives to ensure that all orders are achieved within the delivery dates.
- To coordinate as well as oversee the workflow through to the workshop.
- To organise the team to deliver high quality work and to control the quality process.
- To report on the progress of production regularly in meetings and to be able to identify opportunities for improvement.
- To ensure everyone is working with health and safety protocols in mind.
- To be able to build healthy working relationships with all staff for the benefit of the company.
The Candidate
- Strong production management experience within the joinery industry.
- To ensure an effective manufacturing process that is adopted across all the areas of the workshop.
- To have excellent communicative skills with staff, clients and other stakeholders within the business.
- The ability to read and understand drawings, specifications and production all the way through to delivery.
