This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small private care provider and support the Home Manager in delivering high-quality, person-centred care for residents with dementia.

With an annual salary of 29,120, this role offers a chance to lead and inspire a team in a supportive environment. You'll be working in a small to medium-sized care home where your leadership will have a direct impact on both residents and staff.

As a Deputy Manager, you will:

  • Monitor the wellbeing of residents and ensure their personal and social care needs are met.
  • Provide leadership and management to staff, including conducting supervisions and supporting team development.
  • Promote independence and wellbeing among residents.
  • Ensure compliance with care standards and safeguarding regulations.
  • Work 40 hours per week, mainly 9am to 5pm, with every other weekend and 16 hours supernumerary.

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Deputy or Senior Care Assistant in residential care homes for older people.
  • A strong understanding of the Care Standards Act 2000, Key Lines of Enquiry, Safeguarding, and the Mental Capacity Act (MCA).
  • A commitment to putting people first and promoting their wellbeing.
