Management Accountant | Wilmslow | £50,000 - £55,000 | 2 days on site!

Resourcery Group are working with a long standing client based in Cheshire offering an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Management Accountant to join a fast paced, highly acquisitive business working closely with an excellent leadership team.

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for producing group management account packs but more crucially, providing a commercial input in order to drive change and develop the current reporting processes.

Main duties will consist of;

  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
  • Perform detailed budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
  • Provide comprehensive financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
  • Conduct thorough financial audits and ensure strict compliance with regulations and standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to provide strategic financial support and guidance
  • Drive continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting by identifying and implementing best practices
  • Engage in cost management and analysis to support operational efficiency
  • Conduct financial risk assessment and develop mitigation strategies
  • Provide financial guidance and support for business expansion or mergers and acquisitions
  • Analyse and communicate key financial performance indicators to the management team

Candidate profile;

  • Qualified – CIMA/ACCA/ACA
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Significant experience producing management account packs
  • Commercial acumen
  • Ability to communicate effectively at a c-suite level
