Business Development Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive to join a fast-growing, innovative B2B marketplace within the recruitment industry. This role is ideal for someone with a strong sales background, preferably within recruitment or HR, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building meaningful relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and prospect potential recruiter clients aligned with the company's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
  • Self-generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, and networking.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals and executing contracts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their needs and challenges.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations, effectively communicating the value proposition.
  • Negotiate contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Work closely with the customer success team to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the business.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Proven track record of success in business development or sales, ideally within recruitment or HR.
  • Strong understanding of the recruitment industry, including trends and best practices (preferred but not essential).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a drive to meet and exceed targets.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, office-based environment (five days per week).
