Accountant - Part-Time (25 Hours Per Week, Flexible Hours)

We are currently representing a dynamic and growing small business group based in the Wilmslow area, seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team on a part-time basis, working 25 hours per week with flexible hours. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse monthly accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Provide financial insights to support business decision-making and performance evaluation.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Oversee and improve financial processes and controls.
- Liaise with external accountants for year-end financial statements and tax compliance.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations.
- Assist in the development of financial strategies and business plans.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as required by management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Financial Accountant, ideally within a small business environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage) and Excel. Experience with Sage Cloud is desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data clearly.
