Our client, a prominent player in the aerospace sector, is looking for a dedicated Quality Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is centred around ensuring that the highest standards of quality are met within their innovative projects and manufacturing processes within their newly refurbished part 145 Workshop where no two days are the same.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and execution of internal audit program in order to ensure adherence to company procedures (cross-checking they meet AS/EN 9100, AS/EN9110, TickIT Plus, DAOS, EASA Part-21 & EASA Part-145 and associated Customer approvals
  • Knowledge of CAA (Civil Aviation Authority)
  • Conduct Internal Audits on a continual cycle in all areas of the business over a 12 month period.
  • Drive Audit non conformance investigations and associated root cause analysis activities
  • Schedule, track or report on Supplier Quality audits completed by the Supplier Quality Team.
  • Maintain, communicate and react to Quality metrics tracking to meet targets, and implementation of defined Quality improvement initiatives
  • General support as needed to the Business Management System process
  • Co-operate with management to meet the employer's legal duties and take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions


Job Requirements:

  • Experience and desire to develop prior quality engineering knowledge, particularly within the aerospace sector
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies
  • Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and software
  • Attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Relevant qualification in engineering or a related discipline
