Our client is a specialist within the manufacturing and construction industry. They are looking to recruit a new a Trainee CAD Technician. The role of the Trainee CAD Technician will be to work within their existing Contracts team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing projects from initial design stage through to manufacture
- Producing drawings using AutoCAD
- Preparing Technical and Sample submittals
- Liaising with Contractors, Architects and End Users
- Document management utilising online Intranet based document control systems
- Preparation of associated documentation to ensure compliance
- Liaison with manufacturing partners
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience within Construction Industry
- Experience of working with AutoCAD
- Focused team player
- Commercially aware
- Ability to work under pressure and to precise deadlines
- Ability to instigate changes for continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills
- Full product and system training will be provided
- No known health risks for this role
