Do you have a background in Electrical Design?  Perhaps you have just finished an apprenticeship based around electrical engineering and are looking for a new challenge?  If so, then we have a fantastic opportunity for a company based in Wincanton.Within this role you would be responsible for the creation of quotations and Electrical Designs for client projects. Key duties will include:
  • Prepare quotations, technical drawings and wiring schematics using AutoCAD 2
  • Ensure margins are maintained across all products within the business
  • Configure and test pre-wired equipment before it leaves the business and complete all test documentation
  • Review any manufacturing issues highlighted and update any drawings / processes to prevent re-occurrences
  • Maintain the design and test database by logging all product designs and test data accurately
  • Check and approve drawings for production
  • Update old drawings and up-issue drawing numbers
Providing you have an electrical engineering background, training can be provided within this role. This is a full time, permanent position based in Wincanton and you must be able to work within the office 5 days a week.The pay can be flexible depending on the level of experience the successful candidate can bring to the role.
