Description
The accounts assistant (Fixed Term Contract) roles key responsibilities are as follows:
- Accounts Payable: Process supplier invoices, reconcile statements, and ensure timely payments.
- Accounts Receivable: Generate invoices for clients, monitor accounts for overdue payments, and assist in debt recovery.
- Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate cash flow reporting.
- General Ledger Support: Assist in posting journal entries and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Data Management: Maintain and update financial records and ensure accuracy in accounting software.
- Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and provide input into financial reports.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.
Profile
The successful candidate for the accounts assistant role at a New Media & Internet will have experience in some of/all the above responsibilities.
