Winchester City Council is looking for an Administration Officer to join the Contract Monitoring Team.

As an administration officer in the Contract Monitoring Team, your role will be to support the Contract Managers and Contract Monitoring Officers in ensuring our contractors provide an excellent service to our residents.

The role will involve being the first point of contact for work relating to the council’s waste, grounds and street cleansing services. You will assess calls, emails and cases to ensure they are allocated to the correct member of the team. Data gathering and input on the council’s customer service, finance and monitoring systems will also be required.

An ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential, as is good organisational skills and an ability to manage your own workload and time. This role will see you come into contact with members of the public, contractors, councillors, as well as other sections of the council, so excellent communication skills are a must.
