Working on a hybrid basis (2 days in the office, 3 from home) as part of the wider Learning and Development team, this established organisation based in Winchester is seeking a L&D Co-ordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will cover all aspects of course co-ordination, taking responsibility for specific projects within the department.
This role would suit someone who is an excellent co-ordinator, who has organised events or schedules etc. This is not a role delivering training courses or working in HR
L&D Co-ordinator duties:
- Manage the Graduate soft skills programme from a structure and logistics perspective and understand the content to be able to communicate with graduates
- Become proficient in the use of the learning management system (LMS) and IMC Express. Take responsibility for specialist areas on the LMS- e.g. Graduate training.
- Develop content and continue to consider process improvements
- Build ongoing relationships with key contacts in the organisation to provide an advisory, consulting service when required on training requirements
- Be responsible for co-ordinating specific learning interventions, working with the Head of Central L&D.
- Take responsibility for specific training programmes, for example new people manager training. Work with the Head of Central L&D and the wider business to explore how these can continue to develop. Work with the L&D Assistant as required to roll these out
- Assist with logistics as well as actively interacting with delegates, judges and mentors
- Delegate to and support the L&D Assistant where required
- Remain up to date on developments internally and externally and be open to new initiatives for the department
Training Co-ordinator required skills:
- A strong interest in Learning & Development and the value it can add from a co-ordination perspective
- Confident in building relationships with individuals at all levels
- Previous experience of a LMS or HRMS is advantageous
- Good Excel skills
- Well organised with the ability to follow processes and demonstrate attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
