This is a Permanent role for a Head of Property to join a growing In house legal team based in Hampshire.

Description

The Head of Property position will hold the following skills:

  • Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and leases.
  • Drafting and negotiating options for easement, deeds of easement, licences to assign, underleases, and licences to carry out alterations and land transfers
  • Handle all commercial property matters including reports on title, pre-contract searches and enquiries
  • Provide advice to mitigate any title risks or defects identified
  • Supporting external counsel in the review and preparation of certifications of title relating to project acquisitions and disposals
  • Lead and supervise junior members of the team
  • Work closely with business development and other internal teams to support on all property related matters

Profile

The successful candidate for the Head of Property will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • Be a qualified solicitor
  • Have a strong background and knowledge of working in commercial property
  • Have experience of training, supervising or leading a small teams
  • Have excellent communication skills to be able to partner effectively with internal teams
  • Be able to prioritise workload within the team to meet strict deadlines
