City Centre Sweeper Driver
Pay Rate: £12.21ph
Location: Winchester, SO23 9SQ
Start date: ASAP
Shifts: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 2:30pm, 40HPW
Contract: Permanent
Manpower is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for City Centre Sweeper Drivers to join our client's team in Winchester. In this vital role, you'll play an essential part in keeping the streets and pavements clean and safe for the community. As a Sweeper Driver, you'll be responsible for operating a road sweeper, performing daily maintenance checks, and reporting any issues to the Contract Manager. You'll carry out a variety of street cleansing tasks using the latest equipment, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained. A key part of your role will also include interacting with customers and fellow team members, always maintaining a professional and responsible attitude.
To succeed, you will need:
- To be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Hold a full valid Class 2 Licence
- No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)
- Willingness to learn & open to training.
- Safety conscious mindset is key.
- Experience the industry is desirable
