Our client, a reputable name in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a Workshop Operative to join their team in Winchester on a temp to perm basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product finishing, including brass polishing, chemical finishing (bronzing), and spray painting
  • Assembly tasks such as assembling electronics
  • Operating machining tools, such as pillar drills, lathes, and various hand tools
  • Performing bonding activities, including welding and soldering
Job Requirements:
  • Understanding of metal finishing processes
  • Experience in product assembly and operating workshop machinery
  • Solid grasp of bonding techniques like welding and soldering
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Willingness to undergo training to broaden skillset
  • Ability to work collaboratively with workshop team leaders and the production manager
