We are seeking a Course Director for GCSE English to provide professional leadership and management, ensuring the department delivers high-quality teaching and continually raises standards of learning and outcomes for all learners.
Day-to-day of the role:- Manage and oversee the GCSE English courses.
- Lead and coordinate the course team to ensure excellence of service to the learners.
- Inspire staff to be innovative in all aspects of teaching and learning.
- Maintain a strong focus on improving standards and achieving success within the department.
- A teaching qualification.
- Degree or equivalent in a vocationally relevant field.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Extensive teaching/training experience, including assessment and verification.
- Familiarity with current issues and challenges within Further Education (FE).
