My client, a well-established employee-owned development consultancy, is looking for a Planning Director to join the team in Winchester! The client, specialise across in a variety of disciplinary including Town Planning, Architecture, Urban Design and Ecology.

The Role as a Planning Director:

As Planning Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the business while leading a talented team of planners. You will be responsible for managing high-profile projects, fostering strong client relationships, and driving business development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities as a Planning Director:

Leading and managing planning projects across a range of sectors, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
Providing expert planning advice to clients, stakeholders, and local authorities.
Mentoring and developing junior members of the team.
Identifying and securing new business opportunities.
Representing clients in planning appeals, inquiries, and local plan examinations.
Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest professional standards.

About You as a Planning Director:

A chartered member of the RTPI with significant experience in the planning sector.
Proven track record of leading planning projects and teams.
Strong commercial awareness and business development skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
A proactive and strategic mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality planning solutions.
