My client, a well-established employee-owned development consultancy, is looking for a Planning Director to join the team in Winchester! The client, specialise across in a variety of disciplinary including Town Planning, Architecture, Urban Design and Ecology.

The Role as a Planning Director:

As Planning Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the business while leading a talented team of planners. You will be responsible for managing high-profile projects, fostering strong client relationships, and driving business development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities as a Planning Director:

  • Leading and managing planning projects across a range of sectors, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
  • Providing expert planning advice to clients, stakeholders, and local authorities.
  • Mentoring and developing junior members of the team.
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Representing clients in planning appeals, inquiries, and local plan examinations.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest professional standards.
