Facilities Project Manager - M&E, Refurbishment & Move Management

Location - Winchester, SO21 2JN. This is a national role, based from our client site in Hursley with some travel to other sites.

Hours - Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00

Apleona UK seeking an experienced National Facilities Project Manager to lead and manage the delivery of a wide range of facilities management projects, including mechanical and electrical (M&E) installations, office refurbishments, fit-outs, and moves and relocations. The role involves overseeing both internal and external client-facing projects from tendering through to completion. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will need to have:

  • Proven experience in project management across M&E, refurbishment, and move management within commercial office or property environments.
  • Experience leading teams and managing the design, implementation, and financial aspects of complex projects.
  • Knowledge of tender processes, contracts, and financial oversight.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (PRINCE2, APM, etc.).
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations and health & safety protocols.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, from planning to execution, within time and budget constraints.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong ability to lead teams and subcontractors across multiple projects and locations.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills for client engagement and reporting.
  • Ability to proactively identify and mitigate risks while delivering projects to a high standard.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, and oversee various work streams effectively.
  • A solid understanding of M&E systems, project frameworks, and move management processes.

We’ll make sure that you have everything you need to do a great job. You will already have experience gained in a similar role. You will work 37.5 hours per week but will need to be flexible to ensure service delivery at the highest level.
