Quantity Surveyor

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a highly regarded main contractor based on an upcoming scheme near Winchester. The business operates out of regional offices across the UK and works across the public and private sectors, undertaking projects across the education, healthcare, defence, commercial and leisure sectors valuing up to 50mil. Projects are administered via a mix of JCT and NEC forms of contract.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will either be responsible for managing your own project or be part of the commercial team on a larger scheme. You will be reporting into the Managing Quantity Surveyor.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:

  • Involvement in pre-construction activities
  • Procuring of sub-contract packages
  • Dealing with variations / valuations to the client
  • Cost reporting and conducting monthly CVR's to report to the MQS

Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor role:

  • Have the full right to work in the UK
  • Come from a main contracting background
  • Be experienced in administering JCT / NEC forms of contract
  • Be happy to commute to sites / office in Hampshire
