Cobalt is seeking an experienced Head of Estate to take charge of the operations and management of a leading mixed-use development. This is a newly created position and will see you play a prominent role in shaping and delivering a first-class FM service delivery across a community of commercial customers from a wide variety of backgrounds & sectors. Whilst this role offers plenty of autonomy for you to deliver your vision, you'll benefit from the support of an award-winning SME Real Estate brand, with opportunities for progression within the wider business moving forward too.

The role also involves working with senior leadership and asset management teams to align operational practices with broader strategic objectives, contributing to the park's long-term success.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure the seamless daily operation of the park, including maintenance, security, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Act as the primary contact for occupiers, addressing their needs and ensuring efficient communication.
  • Oversee contractors and suppliers, maintaining high standards of service delivery.
  • Support onboarding processes for new occupiers, ensuring they have everything needed to succeed.
  • Gather feedback to identify improvement opportunities and enhance the occupier experience.
  • Supervise on-site staff, including maintenance and administrative personnel, ensuring they perform to high standards including third-party teams, such as reception and security, ensuring their alignment with operational requirements.
  • Manage budgets, approve expenditures, and ensure accurate allocation of costs for recovery purposes.
  • Monitor compliance with site policies, health and safety regulations, and relevant management procedures.
  • Liaise with senior stakeholders, representing the site on property-related matters.

As the Head of Estates, you'll be able to demonstrate a strong track record in a Senior Facilities role and display the ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders at every level. An IOSH is essential whilst a NEBOSH or IWFM qualification would be viewed positively.
