Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant - Hampshire

We are now working with a mainstream secondary school in Hampshire that require an experienced teaching assistant to work with small groups of students with Educational Healthcare Plans who require additional support to start as soon as possible.

The ideal applicant will:

  • Be available to work full time and be able to commit to a long term role
  • Have experience working with secondary age students with Autism, ADHD and Mental Health
  • Be confident, flexible and enthusiastic
  • Be passionate about raising attainment in students

About the school:

This is a popular 11-16 secondary school in Hampshire who offer an individual support programme to ensure that each student is assisted in breaking through any barriers to learning through an inclusive curriculum. Educational Health Care Plan Students have a range of disabilities and needs relating to cognition and learning, social, emotional and mental health, communication and interaction and/or sensory and physical. The team and SENDCO are experienced, nurturing and focused on the progression and education of the young people in the school.
