Are you a passionate and qualified Functional Skills Tutor with experience delivering English and Maths up to Level 3? If so, we want to hear from you!

As a Peripatetic Functional Skills Tutor, you will deliver Functional Skills English and Maths qualifications (Levels 1, 2 & 3) across multiple sites, supporting learners in their development. This role involves travel to various locations, including Tidworth, Hullavington, Abingdon, Aldershot, and Winchester, as well as providing remote teaching where required.

• Deliver engaging Functional Skills English and Maths lessons up to Level 3.
• Support learners in achieving their qualifications through both face-to-face and remote learning.
• Conduct Speaking & Listening assessments, ensuring all awarding body requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate learner records, e-portfolios, and assessment documentation.
• Tailor lesson plans and learning materials to meet individual learner needs.
• Provide pastoral and academic support to help learners progress successfully.
• Ensure high standards of quality assurance and compliance with awarding bodies.
• Attend team meetings, training, and professional development activities.

• A recognised teaching qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLLS or equivalent).
• A minimum Level 3 qualification in English and Maths.
• Experience delivering Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 3.
• Ability to deliver engaging lessons using a range of delivery methods.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• A full, current UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (mileage allowance provided).
• A flexible and adaptable approach, with a passion for helping learners succeed.
