The family consists of 2 main principals who live full-time on the estate, along with five adult children who visit at weekends. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, well-organised home, provide family-style cooking when needed and manage day-to-day household duties with a focus on warmth, hospitality, and discretion.Key Responsibilities:Housekeeping & Cooking:

    • Maintain the cleanliness of all rooms within the home, ensuring they are presented to a high standard at all times.
    • Handle all laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management for the family.
    • Clean, organise, and maintain all common areas, including bathrooms, living rooms, kitchens, and bedrooms.
    • Manage the daily upkeep and seasonal cleaning tasks, including deep cleaning as needed.
    • Keep the house organised, ensuring all areas remain tidy and presentable.
    • Prepare family-style meals, and cook for the family when they are present, and occasionally when the children or guests visit on weekends.

Household Duties:

    • Manage household supplies, including ordering groceries, replenishing cleaning products, and keeping stock of household essentials.
    • Organise deliveries and maintain a running inventory of food, toiletries, and other necessary household items.
    • Handle general household administration, such as organising supplies and coordinating with tradespeople for occasional home maintenance.
    • Ensure the families 2 dogs are well-looked after, particularly when the principals are at work or away.
    • Act as the go-to person for any ad-hoc household needs, ensuring the daily running of the house is efficient and stress-free.
    • Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all household matters, ensuring the privacy of the family.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in housekeeping, cleaning, and domestic cooking in a private home or similar environment.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage time effectively to keep the household running smoothly.
  • Experience in household ordering and management of supplies, with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with pets and taking care of family dogs if needed.
  • Friendly, approachable, and able to work within a family-oriented and informal setting.
  • Discreet, professional, and flexible, with a willingness to assist in additional duties as needed.
