Head of Finance Transformation

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Head of Finance Transformation to spearhead significant change within a large not-for-profit organisation in the Thames Valley. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Accounting & Finance sector and have a proven track record in leading transformative projects.

Based in the Thames Valley and easily commutable for people living in Windsor, Slough, Reading and West London our client is looking for 1-2 days per week on site. Parking is available.

Do you have experience of transforming a finance function, taking it from being perceived as being "back office " function to a true " business partner", respected and relied upon in the business.

In this role you will lead the finance transformation of our client entire finance division. You will assess the current state including people, roles, process and controls whilst understanding from the business the information they need in order to build out a world class finance function, with well documented processes and control and commercial management information.

Based in the Thames Valley and easily commutable for people living in Windsor, Slough, Reading and West London our client is looking for 1-2 days per week on-site. Parking is available.

Profile

This role would suit someone who has gone into a finance department, assessed the current state, made recomendations, gained agreement from senior management and delivered the transformation across all facets of finance.

This will need to be clearly demonstrated on your CV.

Demonstrable experience of optimising process, structure and people across all aspects of Finance is required and examples will be sought.

As a minimum you will be

• Degree educated
• Qualified Accountant ( ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience operating at Head of Finance/ Finance Director level.
• Demonstrable experience of transforming a finance function, taking it from being perceived as being "back office " function to a true " business partner"

Job Offer

• 12 month fixed term contract, salary/ day rate equivalent to around £75,000. Possible more for an exceptional individual.
