Owen Daniels are partnered with a global logistics & freight specialist, who are seeking a Global Account Executive, on a permanent basis. In the role, you will manage and adjust tariffs to meet profit targets, support key accounts by building strong client relationships and collaborate internally to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues.

Job Description
- Client Tariff Management
- Work with the Account Management team to produce monthly tariffs as needed.
- Review monthly buy rates and update tariffs to meet target profit margins.
- Monitor achieved profit margins and adjust tariffs to exceed targets when possible.
- Collaborate with the Operations Department to manage costs and maximize profit.
- Key Account Support
- Travel as needed to business sites and customer offices to establish and maintain systems and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, warehouse) to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Troubleshoot operational challenges and identify process improvements.
- Identify trends and potential issues, producing and reviewing relevant reports and data.
- Understand customer organizational structures and match contacts, establishing a support team as needed.
- Manage daily operational issues, escalating critical matters to the SGAM when required.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Regularly update SOPs and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders as appropriate.

Essential Skills / Experience / Qualifications
- Experience working for a freight specialist / global logistics provider
- Intermediate to Advanced excel skills
- Excellent communication skills both oral & written
- Attention to detail
- Works well under pressure
