We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our finance team and work closely with the Finance Manager. This role is integral in maintaining an efficient and accurate finance function within our organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting procedures and be fully proficient with Sage accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and reports.
  • Perform routine financial tasks and assist with month-end processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager to improve financial systems and processes.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating a logical and methodical approach to tasks.
  • Utilise Sage, Outlook, Excel, and Word to manage financial data and correspondence.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge and experience with Sage accounting software.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Word.
  • Good understanding of accounting procedures and financial systems.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Access to a vehicle is essential due to the remote location of the workplace.
